One common misapprehension is that cat milk or milk replacement formula can be substituted for cows milk. However, it is actually completely unsuitable, for a whole host of reasons. Feeding Kittens 8 Weeks To 6 Months Oldand Beyond
Between 8 weeks and 6 months old, continue feeding your kitten three to four times per day. Only offer food formulated especially for kittens that says complete and balanced on the label. By the time your kitten is 6 months old, you can cut back meals to twice a day until they are a year old.

What Do Four Week Old Kittens Eat
For the first three weeks of a kittens life, it will get all of the nutrients it needs from either its mother or from being bottle fed using a kitten milk replacement formula. Yet, from around four weeks on, your kitten will enter the weaning stage, where he or she begins the transition towards eating solid foods. At this point, your kitten will be growing rapidly and its mothers milk, or a replacement formula, will no longer be enough on its own.

However, this transition is not always smooth for kittens and I would recommend you make it easier by combining kitten food with formula and a small amount of warm water. This combination is commonly referred to as gruel and can be made using either high-quality wet kitten food or dry kitten food. I would personally recommend using wet kitten food, as it is quicker and easier to turn into gruel, but dry food can work perfectly well.
It is also important that the gruel is supplemented with some level of bottle feeding, using milk replacement formula. This will help to ensure that your kitten is getting all of the nutrients it needs, especially if he or she is not consistently eating the gruel mix provided. Bottle feeding should take place around three times a day, with the recommended interval between these feeding sessions being approximately eight hours.

The milk that mothers initially produce is called colostrum. It is extremely nutrient dense and even contains antibodies that help protect kittens against infectious diseases. After kittens are 1 or at most 2 days old, they can no longer absorb antibodies through their intestinal tract.
Thankfully, most queens are excellent mothers and will provide their newborn kittens with all the care they need. The best way to check that kittens are getting adequate nutrition during this time is to weigh them daily. In general, kittens should gain approximately ½ to ¾ of an ounce each day. Momma cats should have 24/7 access to fresh water and a cat food labeled for growth and reproduction or all life stages so they can produce enough milk for their litters.

Can I Hold The Kitten
Vets recommend not touching kittens unless you have to while their eyes are still closed. You can check on them to make sure theyre healthy and gaining weight, but try to limit direct physical contact.

You will want to change this out a little more often than clumping litter to keep if clean, but I think your kittens health is worth it.
As I mentioned before, they could still have accidents. They no longer need to be stimulated anymore unless you notice that they have not gone to the bathroom. But you should not be intentionally stimulating them after eating anymore. Let them let their body do what it needs to do.

How Often To Feed Kittens
Most kittens should have food left out throughout the day and night until they are 4-6 months of age.
