Parma Animal Shelter Can Help Families Find A Perfect Pet: Sun Postings

There are many cats and kittens at the Parma Animal Shelter just waiting to be adopted into a loving home.

PARMA, Ohio — Parma Animal Shelter will have another kitten/cat adoption open house noon to 4 p.m. July 24 at the shelter, 6260 State Road, Parma. The shelter has many cats and kittens just waiting for a forever home.

Cost is $25 for single and bonded adult cats $50 for one kitten and $75 for two kittens. Adoption fees will be reduced for the rest of the month.

Shelter officials said all cats and kittens are up to date on age-appropriate vetting.

Those who are adopting a cat/kitten should be prepared to bring or purchase a carrier to take home their adopted animal. If a kitten is adopted, they should have non-clumping litter at home for safety reasons. Also, all children younger than 14 who live in the home must be present for the adoption. In addition, a lease agreement or confirmable information of the pet policy is required.

REMINDER: If youre looking for some summer reading material, all adult hardbound books that are part of the book sale at the Parma-Powers and Parma-Snow branches of the Cuyahoga County Public Library will be available for 50 cents. The book sale runs during library hours until Sept. 1.
