$800 per munchkin cat.$200 shipping costI didn’t know them before this, and I didn’t owe them anything. One day, I happened to see their website and decided to buy a cat. Later, I read the same fraud case just like me on Google.I sent a thousand dollars to the cat owner through Zela and received a strange phone call the day he was supposed to be delivered. He told me he was an airport employee and told me he had to send $1,400 more to get the cat delivered. At that moment I thought it was a scam and called the cat owner, but he didn’t answer.
Their M.O. isn’t the first time. It’s like a con company.Many fake shipping sites, hard-to-read receipts, advertising the same cats all month long, continuing to advertise the cat, Bella, I was going to buy.
Please take quick action to prevent any more victims.

However, the natural spontaneous mutation of the breed causing the short legs, like those of a Daschund, is the only real difference between them and any other domesticated house cat. The first reports of short-legged cats appeared during the 1930s but these cats were not seen again until the early 1980s when a woman in Louisiana discovered two dwarfed cats, one of whom was pregnant with a litter containing some dwarfed cats. Munchkin cats cannot be bred with each other as the dwarfism gene they are predisposed to can be lethal. A Munchkin-to-long-legged cross will yield a litter where around fifty-percent of the kittens will be short-legged.

Hochenedel and LaFrance wrote the first breed standard, and established a breeding program. Other breeders soon joined their cause and established their own Munchkin breeding programs. In 1991, the Munchkin was introduced to the public at the nationally televised INCATS TICA show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, to both acclaim and resistance. They tried to gain recognition for the Munchkin with TICA at that time, but were turned down on the basis that not enough was known about the breed. In 1994, the Munchkin breeders tried again, and this time the breed was accepted into TICAs New Breed development program in September of that year. TICAs New Breed development program is overseen by TICAs genetics committee, which tracks the pedigrees and monitors the breeding statistics as a breed develops, including the outcrosses used to develop the breed. This program confirmed that the gene governing the short legs was dominant any cat that possesses the gene will have the foreshortened legs, and can pass along the trait to its offspring. As of May 1, 1995, the Munchkin was recognized for New Breed and Color status in TICA.
