• Cat’s Pride Scented Bacterial Odor Control Multi-Cat Litter: The litter produced very little dust and clumped reasonably well, but it didn’t capture all of the liquid, leaving wet clay stuck to the bottom of the pan. It also has a light soapy scent.
• Arm & Hammer Cloud Control Litter: Arm & Hammer’s Cloud Control was the least absorbent litter out of the nine clay varieties, although what liquid it absorbed clumped solidly. A heavy litter perfumed with a light laundry scent, Cloud Control is, at the very least, dust-free.

Dr. Elseys Precious Cat ULTRA claims to be the litter cats love. It could be, but we dont think its the litter that cat owners love. Mostly, this is due to lackluster odor control. In our estimation, odor control is one of the most important features of any cat litter. Unfortunately, Dr. Elseys litter falls short in that department. Maybe its because this is an unscented formula, but whatever the reason, it doesnt mask foul odors and wont stop the litterbox scent from filling up the room in which its contained.

Of course, theres still plenty here to praise. This litter does clump very well, forming hard clumps that are strong enough for easy removal. Additionally, this seems to be a very low-dust litter, so you wont have to deal with worsening respiratory conditions or excess dust clouds to manage. And while its not the cheapest option, Dr. Elseys ULTRA litter is at least priced reasonably.

Great for multi-cat households, the Frisco Multi-Cat clay cat litter is one of the more affordable litters weve seen. It clumps well, creating hard clumps that make for easy scooping. Surprisingly, even though its an unscented formula, this litter manages to neutralize odors quickly, even if the smell containment isnt as long-lasting as other litters.

There are horror stories about cats eating clumping litter and having it form clumps inside their stomachs, but this isnt something most people need to worry about, said Medley. This cat litter is made of cedar, pine, and corn, not just corn alone, and seems to get a lot of glowing reviews from pet parents. I really want to try this one, and its the only litter on the list besides Worlds Best I think I may actually really like to use. Some say its really great for odour control, but poor at clumping compared to alternatives, so Id definitely stick to Worlds Best in theory. Excellent Product But Expensive

Awhile back I found a coupon for a free bag of this World’s Best Cat Litter. I’d never heard of it before so was surprised when I found it at the local pet store. I got my free bag and was off to see how the cats would like it. It’s a great litter. It’s very absorbent and easy to clean out of the box. Not sticking to the bottom like many others do. Extremely low in dust and provides a really nice fragrance. I’ve tried both the red and the purple bags. Not really sure what the differences are in them, because they both work very well. My only complaint with this litter is the price. It’s very expensive for a very small amount of litter. But it works great! I cannot afford to buy it on a regular basis because I rescue cats and would definitely be blowing the budget if I had to buy 140lbs of this litter a month at their prices. I do always take advantage of any coupons I receive for it and have found the makers of the World’s Best Cat Litter really care about their customers. I receive emails regularly from them and usually always includes a coupon or even another offer for a free bag. They do allow you 1 free bag a year now. If I only had 1 or 2 cats to buy litter for, this would be my number 1 choice! It really is that good!
